When it comes to legendary football kits, the most iconic of them all belongs to possibly one of the most excellent clubs to ever play the sport. The all-white Real Madrid kit is seriously iconic. Since its establishment in 1902, the Spanish club has always played in the iconic all-white kit – besides from 1 year where its home kit included black shorts (that project was scrapped just one year later). Seeing that the side is perhaps the best club in the world, it should be no big surprise that their kit is so different to all the rest of them – a fact that the Real Madrid president obviously appreciates. The club’s away colours are typically purple or blue but undoubtedly, its supporters and general soccer fans everywhere will frequently relate the club with the regal white strip. After all, a number of the world’s best players have put on the legendary kit.
One of the most supported football clubs in England, a very pleasant fact for the Chelsea FC owner to be sure, plays in royal blue. The all-blue strip got to be very distinguished in the last 10 years or so, when Chelsea got to such successful heights that it had not quite seen before. Formed in 1905, the club has consistently played in blue. However, in its initial years it played in a much lighter blue and the all-blue kit was only introduced in the 1960s.
